I am a Metro-Detroit raised, Ferndale based student pursuing a bachelors degree in Landscape Design and Horticulture.  My gardening and homesteading interests include but are not limited to native and wildflower gardens, organic gardens, container and vertical gardens, edible ornamental gardens, no-lawn gardens, cutting, cottage, and moon gardens. I am also interested in indoor aquaponic hydroponic vegetable gardening, exotic and tropical plants, greenhouse contruction, foraging and wild foods, composting, grey water and rain barrel irrigation, small scale farming, animal agriculture, tiny homes and eco-based living (ie. cob, strawbale, turf, and stonemason house construction).

I live in a small bungalow with my rescued dog and pig. I have renovated my home and planted a 4 season organic vegetable garden and native wildflower garden. I am currently building a greenhouse from recycled materials and doing away with my lawn to make room for a more sustainable, natural landscape. My long term goals include finishing my degree and expanding my landscaping business into a public location with a greenhouse. I would also like to found a community garden/farm focused on sustainable and independent agriculture right here in Metro-Detroit. My dream job would be working as a horticulturalist at the Copenhagen Botanical Garden in Denmark.

My goal as a landscape designer is to create plans for beautiful, creative, and sustainable green spaces while meeting your atheistic and functional standards and desires.

My objective as a garden consultant is to make the gardening process an enjoyable experience where you ask questions and learn the ins and outs of successful horticulture. My experience includes but is not limited to organic vegetable, native and wildflower, rainwater, indoor vegetable, 4 season container, aquaponic and hydroponic, vertical, exotic/specialty plant, and greenhouse gardening. This is perfect for somebody who fancies themselves a "DIY-er" and would like to get hands on experience with the guidance of a seasoned professional.

My job as a sustainable living coach is to assist my clients with the transition from a fast-paced and unfulfilled life as a consumer into a simple, low-impact, and self-sufficient way of living without sacrificing modern comforts.
